Description

And when the night, is closing in
Don't give up, and don't give in
This won't last, it's not the end, it's not the end
You're gonna be ok

You're Gonna Be Ok - Brian and Jenn Johnson [link]

It was with trepidation in her step that Moth sought an audience with her Jarl. She had vanished without a trace; she had told no-one that she was leaving, not even her own son, truly believing it would be better for everyone. Yet she had returned home, with strangers in tow and unable to look her fellow Fellfangir in the eyes. The weight of judgement now followed her everywhere, doubling the weight she already had to bear. It was Fable's reaction she feared most of all. She had defied his laws once before when she chose to love an Arynian without his blessing, and she was not sure he would forgive any more secrets. He had accepted her, poor decisions and all, and this was how she had returned the favour?

When she finally found him, she crumbled under the light of his soft eyes, confessing the demons that plagued her and asking, in a whisper, for his permission to stay. He did not reply at first, and the silence was deafening. But then he stepped forward and embraced her, her head low under the curve of his chin as selflessly, he comforted and forgave.

"This is your home, and we are your Skuld."

A collab with the amazing Ramala! She did the sketch, shading, TREEEES and final touches. I did lines, colours, and background! Thank you for collabing with me Rams <3 I love these guys, it's been great to really slowly watch Moth learn to trust and respect Fable as a friend and a leader.

So happy to see her back and safe <3 This is a beautiful piece! I love the expressions, you can really feel their emotions behind them. The sky is so gorgeous as well, the texture is a beautiful touch. Lovely work, you two!
